Manual Tile Entry
Prefer to tap your tiles in yourself? The tile picker lets you build a hand tile by tile from a simple grid.
Building a hand
Tap tiles from the grid to add them to the hand. Keep tapping until your full winning hand is on screen, then score it.

Built-in guards
TileBuddy keeps your hand valid as you go:
- At most four of any numbered tile — bamboo, dots, or characters.
- At most one of each flower or season.
These guards stop impossible hands before they cause a wrong score.
Helpful badges
Seat-wind and round-wind tiles are highlighted with badges. That makes it easy to spot the tiles that could earn you extra faan while you build.
tip
Flowers and seasons can be turned on or off per game in Settings. If your table doesn't play them, switch them off and they won't clutter the picker.
