Premium and Billing
Most of TileBuddy is free, forever. Premium simply gives the AI scanner more room to work.
What's free
The core app costs nothing:
- The score tracker.
- The Faan Wiki.
- Manual scoring and tile entry.
- Your game history and recaps.
What Premium unlocks
The one place with limits is the AI tile scanner:

If you scan often, Premium gives you far more headroom.
How billing works
Premium is an in-app subscription — through the App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. Both tiers (free and paid) are available on both platforms.
You manage or cancel Premium in your App Store account, not inside TileBuddy. That's how the app stores handle all subscriptions.
Reinstalling or switching devices
If you reinstall TileBuddy or move to a new device, just sign in or use Restore Purchases to bring your Premium back. There's no need to pay again.
Restore Purchases lives in the app's subscription screen. Make sure you're signed into the same App Store or Google Play account you subscribed with.
