Co-hosts

Running a busy game night is easier with a hand. Co-hosts let you share organizer access for a single event, so a trusted helper can pitch in — without ever needing your account login.

Invite a co-host

  1. Open the host console.
  2. Open the co-host share. You'll see a link and a QR code.
  3. Send the link, or have your helper scan the QR code.
  4. When they tap it, they get organizer access for that event on their own device.

That's it. Your helper is now a co-host for tonight.

tip

The QR code is handy when your helper is standing right next to you. Just let them scan it from your screen.

What a co-host can and can't do

A co-host can help you run the floor, but a few controls stay with you as the main organizer.

CanCan't
Rotate tablesChange the event's rules
Swap and move playersChange email settings
Record handsEnd the event
Override handsPromote members
Delete hands

In short: a co-host handles the live action — seating, rotations, and scoring fixes — while you keep control of the event setup and the finish.

When co-host access ends

Co-host access ends automatically when the event ends. There's nothing to revoke and no lingering access to worry about. Once you end the event, your helper's organizer access closes with it.

note

Co-host access is per event. If you want the same helper next time, just share a fresh link at your next event.

Tips for a smooth night

  • Bring on a co-host early, before the tables fill up, so they're ready when things get busy.
  • Two people watching the floor means faster rotations and quicker fixes.
  • Since co-hosts can override and delete hands, pick someone you trust with the scoring.
