Ending an Event

When the last hand is played and everyone's ready to head home, tap End Event. This closes the night and wraps everything up for your players.

What happens when you end

Once you end an event:

  • The event closes and becomes read-only. No more hands can be recorded.
  • A recap is generated automatically — the leaderboard, the biggest hand of the night, and each player's personal stats — all at the event's share link. See event recap.
  • Recap emails go out to players who opted in, as long as your recap email setting is on. See club settings.
  • Co-host access ends. Any helpers lose their organizer access as the event closes.

Your players can revisit the recap link any time to relive the night.

Before you end

caution

Ending an event is final for scoring. Once it's closed, no more hands can be recorded and no scores can change. Double-check any outstanding hands first — if something needs fixing, handle it before you end. See corrections.

A quick pre-flight before tapping End Event:

  1. Make sure the last hand at every table is recorded.
  2. Look over the scores for anything that seems off.
  3. Fix anything that needs it with an override or delete.
  4. When it all looks right, tap End Event.
tip

There's no rush. Take a minute to settle up the final hands before you close, so the recap lands with the right numbers.

After the event

Once the event is closed, it moves to your completed events on the club dashboard, where you can always pull the recap link again. Players who opted in will find the recap in their inbox, and anyone can open the share link.
